Tafelmusik's season finale salutes this uplifting spirit with music by composers who embraced change and challenged the status quo. Renowned Japanese-American violinist Shunske Sato makes his Tafelmusik debut leading Beethoven's revolutionary Symphony No. 3 "Eroica" from the violin. Sato is also featured in the stunning Violin Concerto Op. 3, No. 2 by the influential Black 18th-century composer Joseph Bologne.
