Gryphon Trio with Nordic Voices

The Gryphon Trio teams up with the Norwegian a capella vocal ensemble Nordic Voices for a unique evening of musical exploration, featuring new works by living composers from Canada and abroad. Four new commissions by: - Andrew Balfour (Cree) - Norbert Palej (Polish/Canadian) - Bohdana Frolyak (Ukrainian) - Jeffrey Ryan (Vancouver-based, setting text by Toronto poet Michael Redhill) Nordic Voices members previously appeared in the March 2023 performance of Echoes: Memories of the World, but this is the first full experience of the group in Toronto.
