Allegro Classical serves as your comprehensive guide to Canada's thriving classical music scenes. We believe that classical music should be accessible to everyone, and our platform makes it easy to discover, explore, and attend incredible performances in communities across the country.
From intimate chamber music recitals to grand orchestral performances, from emerging local talent to world-renowned artists, we curate and present the full spectrum of classical music experiences available in your community and beyond.
Our Story
There are few things I love more than sitting in an auditorium and getting carried away by a beautiful classical music performance. But too many times I have missed incredible concerts happening in my community, simply because I didn't find out about them in time. Or they sold out before I could secure a ticket.
Trying to keep up with scattered concert information across multiple websites, social media platforms, and traditional media makes it difficult for both regular concert-goers and newcomers to classical music to discover and attend events that would enrich their lives.
And so I built a one-stop-shop for as many classical concerts I could find, starting with Victoria, Vancouver and Toronto. My hope is to keep aggregating more and more concerts and make it as easy as possible for people to discover concerts in their local communities.
My goal is to help make live classical music more accessible, especially to first-time concert goers, and to build a community of classical music lovers from coast to coast to coast. If you have ideas on how to improve this platform or want to be part of its future, please reach out!
