How we compile listings
Where the information on Allegro comes from, and what each label means.
Every concert, organization and job page on Allegro shows a short line describing who stands behind that information. Here's what each one means.
"Compiled by Allegro from public sources"
Most listings on Allegro start here. Our team gathers concert details from organizations' own websites, ticketing pages, and public announcements — with the help of automated research tools, including AI-assisted web research, to keep up with hundreds of concerts in every city we cover. A person reviews what's found before it's published.
Job postings work the same way: we list vacancies that organizations have published on their own websites, with a summary in our words and a link to the original posting, where you apply. A compiled posting comes down when the application deadline passes or the original posting is taken down.
"Submitted by {Employer}"
A job posting the employer sent us themselves. We review every submitted posting before it goes live.
✓ "Verified by {Organization}"
The organization holds a Verified membership and maintains this listing itself through a dashboard on Allegro — updating dates, programs, job postings and details directly, without waiting on us. "Season Partner" is the same arrangement at a larger scale. Look for the gold checkmark on the organization's logo.
Does paying move a listing up the page?
No. Paid tiers buy amplification and presentation — a maintained, verified listing and the tools to keep it accurate. They never buy placement, ranking, or discoverability. Search results and browse pages are never ordered by payment status or tier.
Something wrong with a listing?
Let us know and we'll fix it. There's no charge for this and no membership needed — corrections are free for everyone, always. That includes asking us to update or take down a job posting we compiled.
