The Service

Allegro Classical is a free, public directory of classical music concerts and organizations in Victoria, Vancouver, and Toronto. Most listings are compiled by us from publicly available sources — venue websites, organization websites, and event submissions — and are shown "as compiled," with the source disclosed on each listing. Organizations can optionally upgrade a listing to Verified (see below), which lets them maintain it directly.

We don't guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or error-free. Always confirm event details — dates, times, pricing, and availability — directly with the organization or venue before making plans.

Submitting Events and Listings

If you submit an event or organization information to us — through the submit form, the dashboard, or by contacting us directly — you're responsible for making sure that information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We reserve the right to edit, decline, or remove any submitted listing at our discretion, including for accuracy, formatting, or content reasons.

Verified Membership (Organizations)

Verified Membership is a paid subscription available to organizations that lets you maintain your own organization profile and concert listings directly through the Allegro dashboard, and displays a Verified badge on your public listing.

A Verified badge reflects that an organization maintains its own listing directly and confirms it's current — it isn't an endorsement by Allegro of the organization, its programming, or its quality. We may suspend or revoke Verified status, without refund, for violations of these Terms, fraudulent or misleading listing content, or non-payment.

Dashboard Access

Dashboard access is granted by email via a one-time sign-in link — there's no separate password to manage. You're responsible for keeping the email address on file current and for not sharing sign-in links with anyone outside your organization. We're not liable for actions taken through your dashboard account by anyone with access to that email address or an active sign-in link.

Acceptable Use

When using Allegro, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent event or organization information
• Impersonate another organization or person, or claim a listing you don't represent
• Scrape, systematically copy, or republish our listings at scale without permission
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the site, dashboard, or underlying systems
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

Third-Party Links and Services

Our listings link out to ticketing pages, venue and organization websites, and other third-party services, and we use third-party providers — including Stripe for payments and email providers for dashboard sign-in and notifications — to operate Allegro. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party site or service. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual Property

The Allegro Classical name, logo, and site design belong to us. Organization names, logos, descriptions, and other content submitted or maintained through the dashboard remain the property of the submitting organization — by submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on Allegro Classical for as long as the listing remains active.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Allegro Classical is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any listing, and we're not responsible for any event that's cancelled, rescheduled, or misrepresented by its organizer or venue.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Allegro Classical won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or a Verified Membership, and our total liability for any claim relating to a Verified Membership is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

We may suspend or remove any listing, or suspend or terminate dashboard access, at any time for violations of these Terms. If we terminate a Verified Membership for cause, no refund is owed for the remainder of the current paid period.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
