Program: Mendelssohn: *Symphony No. 3 in A minor, "Scottish"*, Beethoven: *Egmont Overture*, Prokofiev: *Symphony-Concerto in E minor*. Mendelssohn's Scottish Symphony was inspired by misty Edinburgh. Prokofiev's Symphony-Concerto is one of his final works, created with Mstislav Rostropovich, and one of the most demanding works in cello repertoire, interpreted by Danish cellist Andreas Brantelid.
