About this organization

Pro Coro Canada is a professional choir founded in Edmonton in 1981 by Michel Marc Gervais, one of only a few professional choirs in Canada. Michael Zaugg is Artistic Director and Principal Conductor. Its first performance, on September 27, 1981, paired Monteverdi with Britten and Ligeti, an early sign of its taste for both choral classics and new works.
