Just in time for Hallowe'en, Tom Allen and Lori Gemmell open their three-concert Hugh's Room Live residency with darkly beautiful music inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. A string quartet of leading Toronto players performs Debussy's String Quartet, Caplet's gripping Conte fantastique after The Masque of the Red Death, and Alexina Louie's setting of The Raven.
