Georg Friedrich Haas's in vain, hailed by Sir Simon Rattle as one of the first masterpieces of the 21st century, is performed by the New Music Concerts Ensemble under Brian Current. The 70-minute work plunges the audience into a breathtaking 20-minute passage of total blackout. Two performances; includes strobe lights and 20 minutes of complete darkness.

Show 2: doors 8:30 PM, main show 9:00 PM. Tickets: $40 regular; $21 21C. In partnership with the 21C Festival, The Royal Conservatory of Music. This production includes the use of strobe lights and 20 minutes of complete darkness.
