From Spark to Flame

EPO's annual Discovery matinee, a no-intermission 'listen and learn' afternoon. Three young prizewinners from the 2026 North York Music Festival Concerto Competition play concerto movements by Khachaturian, Schumann and Beethoven, and the orchestra closes with Ravel's Boléro, which hands its theme to soloist after soloist.
