Pianist Jennifer King builds a recital around women composers across two centuries, from Ethel Smyth and Clara Schumann to Cécile Chaminade, and on to Carmen Braden and Joni Mitchell. The Heliconian Hall, itself founded by women artists in 1909, is a fitting room for it.
