About this organization

Mozarteum Canada is a new Canadian society dedicated to Mozart's music and legacy, presenting concerts, education and community programming with an emphasis on accessible, technology-enhanced experiences. It was founded by chair Johannes M. Dyring with co-founders Anna Dyring, Anna Sotnykova and Saskatoon composer Paul Suchan, who serves as director of music and artistics. The society is supported by the Austrian Embassy and Austrian Cultural Forum in Ottawa, and launches with a Toronto concert at Heliconian Hall in November 2026. It also runs a national Mozart concert calendar and organizes a Canadian delegation to Salzburg's Mozart Week.
