Music Gallery

Founded in 1976 by members of the Canadian Creative Music Collective, the Music Gallery is Toronto's pre-eminent presenter of genre-defying contemporary music and experimental sound art. Under Artistic Director Sanjeet Mahal, this musician-run venue at 918 Bathurst Street presents 65+ concerts annually, hosts the annual X Avant Festival, and cultivates a community of artists and listeners at the intersection of classical, jazz, electroacoustic, and experimental performance. The Music Gallery has been Toronto's Centre for Creative Music for nearly five decades.
