Music Gallery

Founded in 1976 by members of the Canadian Creative Music Collective (CCMC), the Music Gallery is Toronto's pre-eminent presenter of genre-defying contemporary music and experimental sound art. Under Artistic Director Sanjeet Mahal, this musician-run venue occupies a unique position within Toronto's musical ecology, presenting innovative contemporary music across all genres including electronic music, multimedia productions, contemporary jazz, world music, and experimental performance. Known as 'Toronto's Centre for Creative Music,' the Gallery cultivates artistic experimentation and community through sound, music, and sharing in the creative process.
