Nathaniel Dett Chorale

The Nathaniel Dett Chorale is Canada's first professional choral ensemble dedicated to Afrocentric music, promoting and performing the music of the Black and African diaspora across spirituals, gospel, jazz, classical and folk traditions. It is named for the Canadian-born composer, pianist and choral conductor R. Nathaniel Dett. The Chorale performs in Toronto and tours, with past appearances including the Festival of the Sound, and has collaborated with Opera Atelier and Sistema Toronto. It is based at 195 Wynford Drive in Toronto.
