About this organization

The Ontario Philharmonic is a professional orchestra based in Oshawa, now in its 70th concert season (implying founding around 1957), serving Durham Region and the wider Greater Toronto Area. Its music director is Marco Parisotto. The orchestra performs across three venues: the Regent Theatre in Oshawa, the P.C. Ho Theatre in Scarborough, and Koerner Hall in downtown Toronto, with most Magnum Opus and Soloists Series programs performed twice — once in Scarborough and once in Oshawa. It is a registered Canadian charity.
