Opera Atelier

Founded in 1985 by Marshall Pynkoski and Jeannette Lajeunesse Zingg, Opera Atelier is a world leader in the rediscovery and revitalization of period opera and ballet, particularly works from the Baroque era. Performing twice yearly at Toronto's historic Elgin Theatre with Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra on period instruments, Opera Atelier combines music, dance, and theatrical staging with strong production values to create thrilling historically informed performances for modern audiences.
