Orpheus Choir of Toronto

Founded in 1964, the Orpheus Choir of Toronto is one of the city's leading auditioned choirs, known for programming new and rarely performed choral works alongside the standard repertoire. Thomas Burton-Bresba is Artistic Director, with Yuan Chen as Assistant Conductor and Vladimir Soloviev as Collaborative Pianist. The choir presents four concerts each season at venues including Grace Church on-the-Hill, Eglinton St. George's United Church and the George Weston Recital Hall. It supports emerging singers through its Sidgwick Scholars and Vocal Apprentice programmes.
