Soundstreams

Founded in 1982, Soundstreams is one of the world's leading contemporary music companies and the largest global presenter of new Canadian music. Under Founder and Artistic Director Lawrence Cherney, the organization has commissioned over 170 new works and presents its Main Stage series, Choir 21, chamber music, and innovative music-theatre productions. Programs exploring social justice themes, diverse Canadian identities, and international collaborations make Soundstreams one of Toronto's most vital and distinctive presenters.
