About this organization

Founded in 1972, The Toronto Consort is internationally recognized for its performances of medieval, Renaissance and early Baroque music. General and Artistic Director Daniel Taylor, O.C. leads the ensemble, with soprano Dame Emma Kirkby serving as Honorary Patron. The Consort performs its main season at Jeanne Lamon Hall, Trinity-St. Paul's Centre, and runs the Atkinson International Music Academy, a tuition-free fellowship and residency program for early-music training.
