About this organization

Founded in 1894, the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir is Canada's oldest, largest, and most recognized choral ensemble, renowned for 131 years of delivering the highest standard of musical performance. Under Artistic Director Jean-Sébastien Vallée, the 160+ voice choir performs secular and sacred choral masterpieces in its own concert series and regularly with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
