About this organization
The York Chamber Ensemble was founded in 2001 to bring live classical music to York Region, north of Toronto. Michael Berec is its music director. Concerts are given in Newmarket at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 227 Church Street, and at Pickering College. Programmes draw on both classical and contemporary composers.
