Program Summary
Music on Main opens its 21st season with BlackGate, a programme built around low strings and harp. Cellists Caimin Gilmore and Kate Ellis are joined by Dutch harpist Lavinia Meijer, an artist closely associated with the music of Philip Glass and other minimalist composers. The pairing of two cellos with harp gives the evening an unusually dark, resonant palette.
Full Program
Caimin Gilmore, cello; Kate Ellis, cello; Lavinia Meijer, harp. Repertoire not yet announced.
