City Opera of Vancouver

Founded in 2006 by Dr. Charles Barber, City Opera of Vancouver is a professional chamber opera company dedicated to producing new and unusual opera in intimate spaces. Under Artistic Director Gordon Gerrard, the company has staged landmark world premieres including Fallujah, Pauline, Missing, and Chinatown, and presents its popular monthly Opera Pub series at La Fabrique St-George. City Opera's mission is to connect audiences, artists, and communities through honest operatic storytelling.
