Vancouver Cantata Singers

Founded in 1959, the Vancouver Cantata Singers is a multi-award-winning semi-professional choral ensemble of approximately 40 singers that has won the Healey Willan Grand Prize more than any other choir in Canada. Under Artistic Director Paula Kremer since 2013, the choir is known for technical virtuosity and fine blend, performing diverse repertoire from baroque to newly commissioned Canadian works at venues including Holy Rosary Cathedral. The VCS collaborates regularly with Early Music Vancouver and commissions new works from Canadian composers.
