Vancouver Chamber Choir

Founded in 1971 by Jon Washburn, the Vancouver Chamber Choir is a fully professional ensemble of 20 singers and the largest employer of choral singers in the Vancouver region. Under Artistic Director Kari Turunen, the choir has commissioned over 350 new Canadian works, released 36 recordings with Juno and Western Canadian Music Award nominations, and is acclaimed internationally for championing Canadian music. The VCC performs at venues including the Chan Centre.
