Vancouver New Music

Founded in 1973, Vancouver New Music is a major presenter of contemporary music in Western Canada, dedicated to exploring and contextualizing new music and sonic art through concert presentations, festivals, workshops, and community events. VNM has premiered 250+ works, commissioned 60+ new Canadian compositions, and presents an annual thematic festival alongside its Parallel series for collaborative international-local new works. The organization presents at venues including Red Gate, the Vancouver Public Library, and The ANNEX.
