Vancouver New Music

Founded in 1973, Vancouver New Music Society (VNM) is a major presenter of contemporary music in Western Canada, dedicated to exploring and contextualizing new music and sonic art through concert presentations, festivals, community workshops, and events. VNM regularly commissions and premieres new works by Canadian composers, presents leading electroacoustic and electronic music artists, and explores the interaction of contemporary music with theatre, installation, and media arts.
