Founded in 1958, Vancouver Opera is the second largest opera company in British Columbia and the largest in western Canada, operating one of only two professional opera orchestras in the country. The company presents mainstage productions at the 2,765-seat Queen Elizabeth Theatre and runs extensive education and community programs.
