About this organization

Founded in 1919, the Grammy and Juno Award-winning Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is Canada's third largest orchestra and one of the largest arts organizations in Western Canada. Led by Music Director Otto Tausk, the VSO performs over 150 concerts annually at the Orpheum Theatre, operates the VSO School of Music, and presents beloved programming ranging from classical masterworks to film scores and holiday concerts. The orchestra has a deep commitment to community access, education, and world-class artistic excellence.
