About this organization

The Civic Orchestra of Victoria was inaugurated in 1983 and is a community orchestra drawing players from across Greater Victoria. Its Music Director and Conductor is Grant Harville, winner of the London Conducting Masterclass Competition and the Agatha C. Church Conducting Award. The orchestra performs at the Dave Dunnet Theatre at Oak Bay High School and at the United Commons at First Metropolitan United Church, and has also appeared at Alix Goolden Performance Hall.
