Civic Orchestra of Victoria

Founded in 1983, the Civic Orchestra of Victoria is a welcoming community orchestra of adult amateur musicians performing a wide repertoire of orchestral works for appreciative audiences. The orchestra rehearses weekly and presents four concerts per season at venues including the Alix Goolden Performance Hall and Dave Dunnet Community Theatre, featuring guest soloists and serving as a platform for aspiring performers. Funded through member subscriptions, community donations, and grants, the Civic Orchestra is a vital part of Victoria's community music ecosystem.
