Cowichan Consort Orchestra and Choir

Formed in 1991, the Cowichan Consort Orchestra and Choir is a community classical ensemble of around 50 orchestral players and 50 singers drawn from across the Cowichan Valley, mixing semi-professional, retired, amateur and student musicians. Led by music director and conductor Pippa Williams, it presents three to five evening concerts each season at the Duncan Christian Reformed Church. Each March it features young musicians through its annual concerto competition. The ensemble is run by the Cowichan Consort Society, a registered charity.
