Early Music Society of the Islands (EMSI)

The Early Music Society of the Islands (EMSI) is a Victoria-based society dedicated to the promotion, performance, and appreciation of music composed before 1800. The society presents an annual concert series featuring top regional and visiting early music performers, and supports the development of young early music performers through an annual bursary, workshops, and masterclasses. EMSI also co-presents major productions with partners such as the Boston Early Music Festival and Pacific Opera Victoria.
