Vancouver Island Symphony (VIS)

A professional Canadian orchestra and one of only two on Vancouver Island. Celebrating its 30th anniversary season, the VIS presents world-class orchestral performances at venues including Nanaimo's Port Theatre, Courtenay's Sid Williams Theatre, and Campbell River's Tidemark Theatre. The orchestra offers a comprehensive music education program reaching over 2,500 Grade 4 students annually, plus summer pop-up concerts and family programming throughout the Central Island region.
