Victoria Conservatory of Music (VCM)

About this organization

Founded in 1964, the Victoria Conservatory of Music is Western Canada's largest non-profit music school, offering programs in classical, contemporary, jazz, music technology, and music therapy to over 4,500 students annually across its downtown Victoria and Langford campuses. The VCM presents an active concert season at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall and Wood Hall, featuring faculty, students, and visiting artists, and operates Canada's largest Music Therapy program. The institution also co-presents the Pacific Baroque Festival and hosts major visiting artists and ensembles throughout the year.
