Victoria Summer Music Festival

Founded in 1996, the Victoria Summer Music Festival presents an annual summer series of chamber music concerts featuring outstanding local, Canadian, and international performers at the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall at UVic. Under Artistic Director Arthur Rowe, the festival is a beloved fixture of Victoria's summer cultural calendar, offering audiences intimate encounters with world-class chamber musicians in a setting renowned for its warmth and fine acoustics. The festival also presents free outreach concerts in retirement homes and supports young local musicians through an annual scholarship award.
