Program Summary
The Toronto Symphony Orchestra performs John Debney's score live while the complete film screens above the stage. Debney's writing moves between wide-eyed Christmas warmth and brisk New York comedy scoring, and hearing it played live pulls the orchestral craft out from under the jokes. Christopher Dragon conducts.
