About this organization
Founded in 1922, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra is Canada's most respected symphonic ensemble and one of the country's most prominent arts organizations. Under Music Director Gustavo Gimeno, the TSO performs at Roy Thomson Hall with an expanded North York series at Meridian Arts Centre, reaching over 250,000 audience members annually. The orchestra runs school concerts for 40,000+ students each year, operates the tuition-free Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, and is preparing for a major European tour in 2026.
