The Soul Flies Away

Chor Leoni's 35th annual Remembrance Day concert moves from lament to consolation, framed by Erick Lichte's invocation We Will Remember Them and closing with Don Macdonald's Boundless and Infinite. The programme includes two world premieres - Katharine Petkovski's Warm Summer Sun and Sean Dagher's title work The Soul Flies Away - and brings back Macdonald's High Flight, a setting of the Canadian airman's poem.
