Huynh & Valcheff — Beethoven Symphony No. 1 & Copland's Tender Land Suite

Copland's The Tender Land Suite celebrates community and gratitude in open harmonies. VS Principal Percussion Jacob Valcheff is soloist in the world premiere of a new concerto by Canadian composer Samuel Kerr, and Beethoven's youthful First Symphony closes with exuberant optimism and elegant humour.
